Dooly County Emergency Management Agency

Dooly County EMA Headquarters is located in the City of Vienna, the county seat of Dooly County.  The county EMA is the link between local government and State and Federal resources known as Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) and the Federal Emergency (FEMA).

Dooly County EMA works with city and county governments to develop and maintain Emergency Operations Plans that provide guidance to Emergency staff and workers during times of disaster.  A good example would be the collaboration conducted during the tornado that struck Vienna in April of 1999.
Dooly County EMA also coordinates the county's Fire and Rescue Services.
